Sharon ReganA longtime partner at Warren Sheets Design, Inc., veteran interior designer Sharon Regan has collaborated with company founder Warren Sheets for more than 20 years. Together, Regan and Sheets have masterminded an exciting portfolio of high-end projects, among them membership-only country clubs, celebrity residences, corporate jets, mega-yachts, hotels, offices, penthouses, antique car salons and private museums.

Regan initially honed her skills in the hospitality industry, and started her career working for Hilton Hotels Corporation’s interior design department, designing beautifully appointed lobbies, restaurants, guest rooms and VIP suites for luxury properties nationwide. During her 10-year tenure with Hilton, she completed such high-profile projects as the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.; the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, the San Francisco Hilton and the famed Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu.

She left Hilton to launch her own firm in the mid-1980s, accruing an impressive client roster, which included television producer Bonita Granville and Jack Wrather of “Lassie” fame and “I Dream of Jeannie” star Barbara Eden, as well as well-heeled clients from Beverly Hills, Century City and the surrounding area. She was also instrumental in the redesign of the iconic Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel. While working on that project, she was introduced to Warren Sheets, and the duo embarked on a successful, enduring partnership.

Regan’s background in hospitality design and inherent understanding of proportion and scale rounds out Sheets’ extensive expertise in residential design. “Sharon looks at things in black and white, and concentrates on the details, whereas I work in broad strokes,” said Sheets. “I dream up the concepts, but she makes them happen!” While the duo’s experience and expertise may diverge at times, they are complementary. “It’s an ideal partnership,” Regan says. “We appreciate and respect one another’s strengths, and one thing that we consistently share is a strong commitment to client service.”

The pair’s extensive background in both residential and high-end hotel design has lead to some intriguing projects. In 2006, Regan embarked on the architectural exteriors as well as the interior design for a historic rustic log-style lodge, as well as a collection of 43 custom, multimillion-dollar homes at Kootenai Estates in Big Fork, Mont. To date, she has completed six one-of-a-kind custom homes, with more in the works. The following year, they combined creative forces to complete The Grand Del Mar. The luxurious, expansive resort just north of San Diego features a spa, luxury suites, residential villas and two restaurants, including the award winning standalone signature dining venue, Addison.

Other recently completed projects include Villa del Lago, a $57 million mansion located on a 13-acre property above Pelican Hill Resort in Southern California’s Newport Coast; as well as a luxury downtown Chicago townhome and an oceanfront home in La Jolla, Calif.

Regan earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from UCLA.
